Sorensen Family History—
Histories of the Nicolai Sorensen family, from Nicolai Sorensen's own account of the voyage aboard the Westmoreland to America, to Isaac Sorensen telling us about the oxen in Iowa that don't know "yew" from "yaw" or Danish either. It took the oxen some 300 miles with their tails tied together, before they understood the commands in Danish!
Please take the time to check your files for Sorensen andor other family histories. They need to be shared with the children of our new generation(s). The histories I have placed here are but a start of my collection of Sorensen information, I will try to keep posting them as time allows. Won't you please look in your family for new, different, and or other versions of family history or lore, and share them with the rest of the Nicolai Sorensen extended family?
